Past Scholarship Recipients
Jonathan Jamison
As a 2015 recipient of the LWWF scholarship, Jonathan graduated from Emory University in 2019, with a B.A. degree in Political Science. Jonathan also played tennis at Emory, where aafter three seasons in the program, he is tied for 18th place on the Eagles' all-time list with 73 singles wins. Jonathan holds down the No. 13 spot on the school's career chart with a .760 winning percentage (73-23) and has 78 doubles victories to his credit, which is eighth all-time at Emory. In June, Jonathan will start working for U.S. Representative Lucy McBath, 6th District. Ultimately, he plans to attend Law School. Jonathan states, “I could not have achieved any of this success without the support of the Lisa Woods Washington Foundation”.
Armando Gray, Jr.
As a 2015 recipient of the LWWF scholarship, Armando graduated from Alabama A&M University in 2019, with a B.S. degree in Computer Science. This summer, Armando will be working at Lockheed Martin, then returning to Alabama A&M to pursue a Masters Degree in Computer Science.
